Montreal's Old Port

Here's one of the first photos I ever took since becoming serious about photography. Could you imagine how excited I was when I received my slides back? It was from the first roll of film that went through the body when I bought the 20mm lens. This is still my favorite I think.

The sky apears that way because of the low clouds that were going by quite fast. They were moving exacly parallel to my lens angle and the wideangle took care of the exagerated perspective. The blur is provided by the 45 second shutter opening.

Camera : Nikon F60

Lens : AF Nikkor 20mm f/2.8D

Film : Fujichrome 64T PRO

Exposure : 45 sec @ f/8

Great work...it has such a cool, high-tech feel to it somehow, perhaps from the illustion of the clouds racing by :) (Smile)
